
ECMC Exterior Envelope Renovations
As a subconsultant, Foit-Albert Associates was contracted to provide services related to the exterior improvements to the almost 100-year old David K. Miller building and the main hospital on the Erie County Medical Center Campus.
Project Details Foit-Albert’s architects are currently providing building envelope design services to improve the exterior of the D.K. Miller Building. The scope of our work of this older building addresses a roof replacement and façade restoration to include lintels, re-pointing, brick and stone repair, sealants, door and window replacements and wood section removals.
Additionally, the roof of a corridor that is attached to the building will require replacement, along with masonry work, as well as, the design of an enclosure and exit.
For the main hospital, Foit-Albert is responsible for the replacement and repair of the roof on the building to included plans and details, construction documents and construction support services.
Foit-Albert Associates will also be providing site topographic survey, construction documentation, project coordination, and code review services.
