Greg, who joined the firm in 1999, has been practicing architecture for over 35 years. As President, he sets the vision and direction of the firm and coordinates and executes financial, administrative and technical operations. Greg is a hands-on leader, managing several projects which range in size and complexity. He blends his experience as an architect and project manager with an effective mentoring style to bring teams together, working for the common goals of clients and, in effect, driving the success of the firm and our projects.

Gwen A. Howard, AIA, LEED AP

As Sr. Vice President of Architecture, Gwen leads her team, providing expertise to a varied portfolio of complex projects that range from historic preservation to animal habitats and husbandry spaces. Drawing on her skills as a Certified NYS Code Enforcement Official, she is adept at integrating quality design with innovative code solutions, using an understanding of the “why” of the codes to better inform the “how” of architecture. Gwen has been practicing for over 30 years and is recognized for her commitment to her clients, a passion for technical as well as design excellence, and a philosophy that, across the board, every day is a school day, fostering an environment that enables her entire team.

Gerard J. Sentz, PE

Jerry coordinates all engineering staff to ensure that clients are given the best uniform service and product statewide. He assists in business development and, as an officer of the corporation, assists in corporate decision-making. Jerry has expertise in the development and analysis of Emergency Management Response Plans and is well versed in disaster planning,  response, recovery and mitigation. Jerry’s eleven years in government included serving as Commissioner of the Erie County Department of Public Works. There he managed a staff of more than 300 individuals, including over 175 people in the Division of Highways, consisting of five districts covering more than 2,450 miles of County roads.

Andrew S. Taylor, PE, FPE,CFPS

Andrew Taylor has more than 30 years of professional engineering and construction experience. Andy Leads Foit-Albert’s Building Systems Engineering Group and has extensive experience in the design of a variety of fire protection, plumbing, and process piping systems for municipal, science & technology, higher educational, and commercial facilities. He holds professional engineering licenses in both mechanical and fire protection disciplines.

Wayne E. Bonesteel, PE

Mr. Bonesteel has over three decades of experience providing both public and private engineering services. He is experienced in design, project management and construction administration on a wide variety of engineering projects for state agencies, municipalities, developers, and public utility companies. He has been involved with numerous transportation, municipal, and private development projects that included bridge and highway design and construction, water and wastewater design, stormwater management, permitting, and site design and planning.

Bryce T. Bixby, AIA

Bryce is a Senior Team Leader in the architectural department and has over twenty-five years of professional experience. He is responsible for project management and architectural design in addition to quality assurance and quality control for projects as the firm’s Quality Associate. His experience includes design, programming, bid assistance, construction administration as well as acting as Owner’s Representative in Design-Build scenarios.

Shawn M. Cowe, AIA

Shawn has served as project manager and designer on a variety of projects, including, multi-family residential, healthcare related facilities, educational, municipal, parks, and recreation, building assessment, historic preservation, senior living, and hospitality and corporate development projects, as well as commercial and retail buildings. His work involves building design, space planning, site design, construction drawings and specifications, construction contract procurement, post-occupancy evaluations, damage/defect investigations, and square footage analysis. He has also reviewed applicability and project compliance with ADA, zoning and municipal ordinances.

Peggy Gust-Anger

Peggy joined Foit-Albert Associates in 2008 and is the Director of Marketing responsible for the marketing, communication and business development efforts of the firm. In addition to strategic planning efforts, she directs public relations, branding, website development, proposals, and presentations. She also represents Foit-Albert Associates at many industry-wide trade shows.

Vice President- Site/Civil Engineering & Landscape Architecture

Deanne L. Pericak, PE, RLA, LEED AP

Deanne Pericak, PE, RLA, LEED AP is a Vice President overseeing the firm’s site/civil engineering and landscape architecture disciplines.   Throughout her 20+ years of practice, she has used her expertise for conceptual site planning, hydraulic/hydrologic analysis, utilities, grading, SWPPP preparation, sanitary sewer, water mains and landscape design.

As both a registered Professional Engineer in the states of New York and Connecticut, and a licensed Landscape Architect, Deanne understands the infrastructure elements of a project as well as the natural aspects of the environment.

Roy B. Garfinkel, PLS

Roy has over 30 years’ experience in Land Surveying and Civil Engineering with a background in construction.  He brings over 28 years of leadership experience in surveying projects throughout Western New York for municipal, commercial, and residential projects, with over 15 years of experience on job sites.

Scott W. Dabb

Scott, who joined the firm in 1990, oversees the firm’s financial activities by monitoring cash flow, determining loan needs and compiling and maintaining annual budgets.  In addition, he takes the lead with government financial auditors, including NYSDOT and SUCF.  He manages a staff that handles bookkeeping, project accounting, invoicing and purchasing. He also manages the firm’s IT infrastructure, and benefits administration.

His financial expertise in the A/E/S industry helps steer in the overall strategic planning course for Foit-Albert.
