City of Buffalo Park and School Facilities

Objective: Foit-Albert Associates provided civil engineering services in support of the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo’s various City of Buffalo park and Buffalo Public School facilities. The goal was to identify potential improvements to fields, spectator stands, press boxes, lighting, drainage and watering, landscaping, walkways and parking.

Scope: The scope of our services involved inventory and assessment of utility infrastructure, site and landscape features, programming and scoping and design development for the project.

Project Details: Foit-Albert staff performed site visits to eleven project facilities, documented the existing conditions and provided a report. Engineers also collaborated on the recommendations for renovations and improvements, new facilities and programs, and maintenance and management practices.

Design tasks and construction details included site and athletic field grading, stormwater drainage system design, and utility plans for public water and sanitary sewer.
