Weidrick Road

Foit-Albert Associates, as the Prime Consultant, has been contracted by the Allegany County Department of Public Works to provide services involved in the replacement of Federal Aid Project located on Weidrick Road over Genesee River in the town of Wellsville, NY.

The scope of our services included all environmental tasks under Section 4.04 and 4.05 and followed the processes outlined in the NYSDOT Environmental Manual (TEM).

Project Details The bridge project will replace the existing structure with a structure that will be constructed on an improved vertical alignment and the horizontal alignment will remain unchanged.

Foit-Albert Environmental Scientists delineated the wetlands surrounding the area to establish the new vertical alignment. A limited pre-renovation hazardous material assessment for Lead Based Paint, Asbestos Containing Materials and Polychlorinated Biphenyls was completed on the existing structure; obtained the applicable permits and certifications and completed the Smart Growth/Complete Streets Checklist.
