Buffalo State College Tower 3 Renovations
Foit-Albert Associates was responsible for construction administration services for the renovation of Tower 3 on the SUNY Buffalo State College campus.
The project scope encompassed asbestos abatement and renovation of a 50,930 square-foot building. The entire interior of the existing building was remodeled and received new mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection equipment. Existing windows were replaced and upgrades to the existing systems were provided to increase the building’s efficiency.
This project also included reconfiguration of the basement, including the addition of a fire pump room, as well as, an emergency generator room, study room, public toilet, enlargement of the laundry room and updating of finishes. In addition, there was an enlargement of the student lounge through a small addition to the north and east, and removal and replacement of windows and storefront.
