Foit-Albert Associates, as a subconsultant on two separate contracts, provided services related to the planning, design and construction of various projects at the Albany International Airport.
The scope of our services included design, review of plans, coordination of plans and weekly conference calls.
The work at Albany airport consists of rehabilitation of the terminal, building a new parking plaza, improvements to customer parking access through improved LED signage, car counting devices, access control devices etc. and installation of solar panels.
Foit-Albert Engineers developed the staging plans for the renovation work inside the airport; reviewed the plan sets at various stages for the parking garage, and reviewed the site/civil plans.
In addition, Foit-Albert Associates performed third-party review of other architectural and engineering drawings and specifications with regards to building code compliance, accessibility & constructability review based on our aviation experience.
