Long Island State Veterans Home AHU

Foit-Albert Associates, as a subconsultant, was responsible for the structural work involved in the replacement of six (6) air handling units at the Long Island State Veterans Home at Stony Brook University.

The six units are being placed on a basement floor with spring isolators on a separate concrete pad. Structural engineers developed final plans for the pad. Additional structural design was needed for supports installed for e the outside air duct of the laundry room.
