Andrew S. Taylor joins Foit-Albert as VP of newly formed Building Systems Engineering Group

Foit-Albert Associates, Architecture, Engineering and Surveying, P.C announces the addition of Andrew S. Taylor, PE, FPE as Vice President of the newly formed Building Systems Engineering division at the firm.
Mr. Taylor has worked in the industry for nearly 30 years and will be responsible for growing the new Building Systems Engineering Group. “Foit-Albert is growing in all our architecture, engineering, surveying and environmental service areas. Expanding into this discipline is well-suited for our continued growth,” said Foit-Albert’s President, Greg Carballada. “Andy is a perfect fit and will be instrumental in our continued expansion, service-wise and geographically,” he said.
Mr. Taylor, who most recently managed the Piping, Plumbing and Fire Protection Services department at Erdman Anthony, earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Rochester Institute of Technology, and holds professional engineering licenses in both mechanical and fire protection disciplines.
“I have enjoyed working with the professionals at Foit-Albert for the past 20-yrs. and I am now honored to join their team. The addition of Building Systems Engineering services will allow us to offer a full slate of design and construction related services that will meet the ever changing needs of our clients and set ourselves apart from our competition,” said Mr. Taylor.
His professional affiliations include: Professional Member of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers, past Corporate Representative to the National Fire Protection Association and Member of Architects, Engineers, and Building Officials Section of NFPA.
