Structural Engineer – Buffalo or Albany, NY

The successful candidate will have a five to ten years of building structural engineering design experience, specifically in the building structures field as related to new construction, renovations, additions, analysis, special structures, and design/build projects, and will be responsible for design and production of detailed structural drawings for a variety of building projects. The Engineer may work out of our Buffalo, NY, or Albany, NY, office; there is a potential for remote work. Must be able to travel to project sites in New York State.
Qualifications:
- 5 to 10 years working as a building structures designer
- NYS Professional Engineering license preferred
- Proficient technical writing and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MicroStation and structural engineering design software RISA, STAAD, or equivalent
- B.S. in Structural or Civil Engineering with coursework in structural design
- 4 years minimum experience with structural design of concrete, steel, masonry, and/or wood
- Able to effectively handle multiple projects
Qualifications:
- The Structural Discipline provides structural engineering services with emphasis on new design, repair, and rehabilitation of constructed works, as well as investigation and performance evaluation
- This position will work closely under the supervision of a Senior Structural Engineer to develop concepts, strategies, designs, drawings, specifications and reports

Construction Inspector – Newcomb, NY

Seeking resumes for Construction Inspector NICET IV Resident Engineer to work on a construction project located in the town of Newcomb, NY. The construction inspector should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in inspection of heavy highways and bridges. The RE will perform all activities necessary to start, continue and close-out this project.
The RE will provide field inspections and ensure work follows drawings, specifications, and construction control documents. Inspection will follow MURK format using APPIA or similar reporting software. RE will conduct progress meetings, create an agenda, minutes including editing and distribution. Scheduled to start May 2023 through completion November 2023.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Log and manage project submittals, RFI’s and correspondence.
- Creates Monthly Progress Payments and Create Contract Change Orders.
- Accurately track contract change orders, material inspection, certification, and additional documentation.

Qualified Team Leader candidate will be a NYS Professional Engineer with at least 3 years of recent experience in bridge design or inspection. Qualified Assistant Team Leader candidate will at minimum have an AAS degree in civil or structural technology and 2 years of bridge inspection experience. Survey CADD Technician

Survey Project Manager

Survey Crew Chief – Western New York

Seeking a Land Survey Crew Chief with a minimum of five years of field experience in Topographic, ROW, ALTA, and construction surveys. Must be experienced with New York State Department of Transportation Land Surveying Standards. Some travel throughout New York State may be required.
Responsibilities:
- Perform survey work involving boundary, topographic, utility, construction, laser scanning, GPS, and other surveys.
- Collect field data using total station, GPS receivers, high definition laser scanners, digital levels, etc.
