Mr. Rall was nominated by Miguel Guitart, Assistant Professor at the University of Buffalo. Mr. Guitar noted that his portfolio incorporates “frequent themes of light wells and green infill, including his project Carved Illuminance, a stunningly daylit, green-roofed museum, designed with Raegen Lester.”

“We are so proud of all that Forrest has accomplished and that others are recognizing his talents.  We look forward to big things for him in the FAmily!”, said Foit-Albert’s Vice President of Architecture, Gwen Howard.

Metropolis Magazine debuted the Future100 program in 2021, which is sponsored by CannonDesign, Daltile, Formica, Interface, Keilhauer, Rapt, Sherwin-Williams, and SOM. The program recognizes the top graduating architecture and interior design students in the United States and Canada. The Future100 Class of 2022 students were each nominated by their instructor or mentor, with 56 interior design and 44 architecture students chosen by the Metropolis team.

“I am honored to have been selected to Metropolis Magazines Future 100 list. During my time at SUNY Buffalo I had the privilege of collaborating with peers and professors to hone my design skills towards a pursuit of ecological design and sustainable practices that I look forward to continuing in my professional career. Bridging the gap between the built environment and the natural environment is an important responsibility for all designers and it was great to see so many other students equally excited and passionate about sustainability,” said Mr. Rall.

Since 1999, ICIC has identified and celebrated the 100 fastest-growing businesses in under-resourced communities in the U.S. through the IC100 award. The 2021 IC100 winners were evaluated based on revenue growth during the four-year period from 2016 to 2020. “Recording financial growth year over year is a significant accomplishment,” said ICIC CEO Steve Grossman. “The Inner City 100 class of 2021 sustained their momentum amid the unprecedented challenges faced during the pandemic to greatly expand their respective businesses’ revenue – a tremendous accolade to be celebrated.”

Grossman added, “These firms have been engines of job growth and a healthy, inclusive economy in these incredibly challenging times. They have also been actively engaged in strengthening their communities by donating their time and resources to local organizations and charities. We are truly inspired by our IC100 winners.”

Foit-Albert Associates encourages employees to engage in activities that promote diversity and grow connections between the professions and the local community. Employees serve on the Erie County MWBE Advisory Committee, local not-for-profit boards, and the AIA-WNY MWBE Committee, working to increase opportunities for workforce diversity within its regional Architecture/Engineering community. The firm sponsors and participates in Bridge to Enter Advanced Mathematics (BEAM) and the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Future Cities programs. Hispanic Heritage Month

Each year, Americans observe National Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15, by celebrating the histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America.

We celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month to recognize the achievements and contributions of Hispanic American champions who have inspired others to achieve success.

The day of September 15 is significant because it is the anniversary of independence for Latin American countries Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua. In addition, Mexico and Chile celebrate their independence days on September 16 and September18, respectively. Also, Columbus Day or Día de la Raza, which is October 12, falls within this 30 day period.
